What 303Cameras is all about

Hello to all my fellow photography and camera aficionados.  My name is Christopher Noel and I am the owner of 303cameras.com.  I would like to welcome you to my websites blog and tell you a little bit about myself, my goals for 303Cameras, and what we have to offer. 

I've been in the Colorado photography and video industry now for just under ten years.  I've worked for several companies from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs and I own a few companies of my own including Eclairci LLC the parent company to ChristopherNoelPhotography.com.  I've shot all over the world including multiple places in Europe and Central America for weddings, events, and just for fun.  I've been featured in 303 Magazine, and had work displayed in places like 910Arts in the Santa Fe Art District.  As a local Denver photographer and business owner, I have had many great experiences in the photo community, but felt there was room to grow. 

In a place like Colorado there are so many fantastic opportunities to take incredible photographs and just as many ways to display them around town in coffee shops, boutiques, galleries or even in Denver's famous First Friday Art Walk.  There are also some good locations around town to buy some of the best photography and video equipment on the market.  What I feel the Metro area lacked was the used and rental camera markets.  Thus, 303Cameras is your one stop shop for selling your old or unused equipment, or to get a rental with same day service. 

If you have shot photos as a hobbyist or as a professional for any length of time then you know how it goes.  You buy some gear for a big project, but then never needed it again and now it's a lens that just sits in a bag.  Maybe you have been shooting for a hobby and are now getting some gigs and want to get out of APSC and upgrade to a 35mm full frame body and go pro.  What about finding an old film camera and wondering if it still has any value.  If you go back to the same place you bought that gear from, you'll find that most of those shops only sell new equipment.  Pawn shops have waiting periods, and are not photo experts. Selling online requires accounts with ebay, or paypal, and craigslist tends to me more of a hassle than it's worth.  We buy used cameras, from vintage film, to modern digital; and we make it easy, putting cash back in your pocket, fast.

What about rentals?  If you're just starting out in the camera world and wanted to shoot your kids basketball game, you probably don't want to spend $2500 on a new 70-200mm f2.8 lens for those 10 games a year.  So why not rent one?  For the pro shooters, what if you were shooting a wedding tomorrow and the conditions required a different application than the norm, you can rent and lens, or flash, or backdrop for this one event that's out of the ordinary.  Malfunctions happen; and they always seem show up at the most inconvenient time.  So when your wide angle lens had to be sent in for a 4-6 week repair, and you need a fix now, 303cameras has same day rental so you don't need to wait to get the lens you need today.
